I know you will delight in these one-of-a-kind pieces of Sculptic-Art. They are most striking when draped over a simple top in a light shade. I designed them to be lightweight, delicate and maintenance free. Enjoy.
Materials & Fabrication
The neck pieces in this series are made from 16-gauge copper wire. A patina has been applied to turn the copper black. Each piece absorbs a different amount of patina, leaving a unique shade of black. Some pieces have a copper tone which I call Rustic Black. Designs hang on a hand-soldered copper bail and strung with a kink-resistant nylon coated stainless steel wire. The hook & eye clasps are also hand-made from 16-gauge copper wire with a patina application.
Care
Each piece is delicate, please be mindful of the fabric on which you wear your piece. With a number of layers and jutting ends, we recommend wearing on a flat fabric and to keep away from sweaters with enlarged holes that the ends may catch on and pull. The wire is durable but may snap if pulled.
