About the Artist

I have had a passion for creating my entire life. I have always detected design possibilities in everything I see and have a desire to construct art from everyday objects or things found in nature. My visual cues and curiosities kept me up at night but also gave me an opportunity to pursue a stimulating livelihood in the arts. After a career in retail and Visual Merchandising, I returned to school for a Studio Art degree in Arizona. My love of sculptural design and welding developed a taste for jewelry making. My experience with jewelry design started in 2012 and has evolved since. I gravitate toward mixing contrasting mediums like metal and something from nature. My Eco-Modern-Expressive approach to design guides my pieces to using materials in ways that promote extensive texture and how the piece plays with light. My work is somewhat inspired by the Architect/Designer Thomas Heatherwick for his skilled pattern interaction throughout his compositions and streamlining of the Art Deco movement.

My skill set includes metalwork, 3-dimensional invitation design, recycled crafting and sewing & fiber arts. Professionally, I have been a corporate Event Designer for over 20 years. I currently live outside of Boston, MA where I was raised and create from my home studio where I live with my husband and teenage son.
